Victor Cruz is proud of the way New York dealt with the bombing this weekend … telling TMZ Sports the Big Apple always comes together in the face of terrorism.
We talked to Cruz at an event for Hublot watches in NYC (they announced a partnership with the Giants) … and asked V.C. about the city’s reaction to the attack that left more than 25 people injured.
“New York comes together each and every time something happens. I believe they did that again, and hopefully this never happens again,” Victor tells us. “We’ve already dealt with more than enough pain and strife when it comes to terrorism.”
FYI — Cruz wasn’t yet in the NFL on 9/11 … but lived only miles away from the World Trade Center.
Cruz also addressed the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie divorce … delivering a (depressing) message for everyone who’s in love.
