The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Dept. is about to hold a news conference to explain why Ronald Gasser was arrested for manslaughter in the shooting death of Joe McKnight.
It’s all set to go down at 8 AM PT — we’re told officials will reveal what has changed in the case since Gasser was initially detained and released in the wake of the incident.
Officials have previously described the situation as a road rage incident — and said McKnight was shot while at the passenger window of Gasser’s car. Gasser was in the driver’s seat.
One witness has told TMZ Sports she saw Gasser pacing back and forth over McKnight’s body after the shooting and yelled at him, “I told you I was going to f*** you up.”
