The Philadelphia Eagles have released wide receiver Josh Huff — just 2 days after he was arrested for DUI with a gun, ammunition and weed in his car.
Huff was the special teams player of the week on October 26th after returning a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown on the 23rd.
Huff was arrested on Tuesday near Philadelphia — he was originally pulled over for speeding and illegal window tinting. During the stops, cops say they found a handgun (that allegedly wasn’t licensed) and hollow point bullets.
After the arrest, Huff said that he carried a gun because he’s a pro athlete and “every pro athlete has a gun.”
