Penny Hardaway just dropped $500 so he could hit the links FRESH … in one-of-a-kind golf shoes patterned after his classic Fighter Jet Foamposites from back in the ’90s.
TMZ Sports spoke with Roly Padron from Nomad Customs, who says Penny wanted a special look for the Black Enterprise Golf Challenge this Labor Day weekend … so he decided to freak his sneaks.
Roly hand painted a pair of Nike Air Zoom 90 golf shoes — a 10 hour job — to give Penny the same camouflage look from his classic shoe that drives sneakerheads wild.
The blue in the shoe is also significant … a nod to Penny’s time with the Orlando Magic … just tossed in there for a little nostalgia … and, of course, Hardaway’s signature logo is on the back.
Whole job cost about $500 bucks … but you know what they say … look good, play good.
