Sad news for ex-NBA star Darius Miles … who’s in danger of losing a bunch of his prized possessions in his bankruptcy case — including his signed LeBron James jersey.
TMZ Sports has obtained court docs filed in Illinois where 35-year-old Miles — who made more than $60 MILLION in the NBA — filed for Chapter 7.
In the docs, the trustee overseeing Miles’ case says he intends to auction off a bunch of Darius’ valuables to pay back his debts — valuables that include the following:
– Autographed LeBron James jersey
– Autographed Mark McGwire bat
– PlayStation and Xbox consoles
– Large screen TVs
– Firearms
– approximately 1,000 CDs and DVDs
The auction is set to go down on Dec. 14th in Illinois. Miles can object to the auction — but he needs to move quickly.
It’s not the first time a famous sports debtor has been forced to auction off his stuff — Warren Sapp had to sell off his massive Nike collection back in 2013. 213 pairs got him $6,390.
As for Miles, his Bron jersey should fetch about $2,000 (or more) depending on the quality of the jersey.
