A Martha Stewart Living folding chair almost did in a woman who just wanted to sit … so she claims in a new lawsuit.
Gina Currie claims she bought a wicker folding patio dining chair at Home Depot. The chair was manufactured by Martha‘s company, so what could go wrong?
Currie claims she took a seat 2 years ago, when the welds of the support bar failed and she went crashing to the ground, causing her serious injuries.
The customer is not only going after Martha’s company, she’s gunning for Home Depot, claiming the store should have known it was hawking a faulty chair.
And this is interesting … the chair’s been discontinued from Martha’s line.
We reached out to Martha Stewart Living and Home Depot … so far, no word back.
