Dave Chappelle is angry at a headline that suggests he’s in Trump’s corner and he believes the media outlet in question is guilty of shotty journalism.
Chappelle performed Friday night at The Cutting Room in NYC and a reporter from The Observer apparently snuck a recorder in and provided what appeared to be a transcription of the show … in particular, what the magazine called Chappelle’s defense of Donald Trump.
Chappelle did indeed go after the media in his attack on Trump saying, “Sexual assault? It wasn’t. He said, ‘And when you’re a star, they let you do it.’ That phrase implies consent. I just don’t like the way the media twisted that whole thing. Nobody questioned it.”
But what the comedian is upset about … The Observer reporter didn’t mention he also went after Donald … as much as Hillary. In fact, Chappelle’s people tell us he’s already voted … for Hillary.
