Darren Sharper has made his not-so-triumphant return to Los Angeles — where he’s being held in a cell while awaiting his sentencing hearing for raping two women.
The ex-NFL superstar has been doing all sorts of traveling lately. In August, he went from his federal prison in Oklahoma City to Louisiana to be sentenced. He got 20 years as part of a global plea deal.
Now, he’s back in L.A. where he previously served hundreds of days behind bars following his initial arrest back in 2014. He’s set to be formally sentenced on Wednesday and then will be shipped back to a federal prison where he’ll continue to serve time.
The former New Orleans Saints star was convicted of drugging and raping several women in 4 states … CA, LA, AZ, NV. Still, he insists he’s “not a monster.”
