UFC ring announcer Bruce Buffer says announcing the wrong result at UFC 205 was definitely a “Wanna Getaway” moment … but don’t compare him to Steve Harvey!
Buffer caught some heat after incorrectly declaring Tyron Woodley the winner over Stephen Thompson by “split decision” … only to take it back and re-announce it as a “majority draw.”
Don’t worry, Woodley retained his title — but you could tell he was upset … and it was definitely a confusing moment.
We spoke with Bruce who explained what went down behind the scenes — and also why you can’t compare it to Steve Harvey’s Miss Universe moment … when he crowned the WRONG winner.
